Welcome to #MoOdisha Understanding what Sri Aurobindo was doing during his last years is important. Most of his major writings are things of the past and the evening talks are superficial. It's unlikely that he was busy with the Record of Yoga kind of pursuit. He divulged little but it was concrete.
It's easy to quote to extol spirituality but, ultimately, it's nothing but a cult in the garb of yoga. People in general regard Sri Aurobindo as a rishi or a guru but Savitri Era Religion will keep on growing around his versatile personality and The Mother's enigma and charisma.
Rules of the game, surely, are pivotal but success, most often, is achieved by flouting them. Dishonesty, therefore, is rampant and intellectual dishonesty is a far more serious malaise. For those who talk about ethics seldom practice it in real life. Yoke of party is the culprit
From school syllabus to current social media, I have been fed with disinformation for the last sixty years. Young generation is also suffering from the same malnutrition. One set of lies are being replaced by another. No attempt to remedy the malady. Civilisation must ensure this
It's good that curiosity on Sri Aurobindo is growing but it's better to search and find oneself instead of asking someone. Apart from the Google main, Books and Scholar search can unearth plethora of information. Besides, Blogs do have own search facility.

He won't be given the sole distinction of being the greatest. The Mother recognised that way back in 1914 but the world is still confused about his status.
Many a time a question is raised as to which book to read about Sri Aurobindo. Some are reluctant to read and want spoon feeding. A couple of handles would engage with genuineness to delete the tweets later. Plunging into his works without any plan is key.
