Sorry

How could I not mention one of our giants!

Swami Dayananda who brought into our consciousness that the Veda works at multiple levels using shlesha His Rigveda Bhasha Bhashya is scholarly and deep.

And Ganapati Muni who was Maharishi Ramana’s first disciple and a great scholar, yogi, poet

Indra is a tremendous power, a warrior, a creator of excellent forms, the protector, the liberator

Who is Indra? Indra is our own mind at its summits

You see, the Veda doesn’t look down upon the mind. The Veda says that Indra is the helper in the Yajna, the one who takes us to the Supreme Light, the Satyam-Ritam-Brihat

In a famous episode of the Veda Rishi Agastya complains to Indra for blocking his ascent. Indra promises to assist Agastya Rishi but informs the Rishi that Indra may not be bypassed. Agastya agrees and they do the Yajna together

If there is one thing we need in our nation it is brain power, said Sri Aurobindo. We must develop the power of Indra which can smash through inconscience and remove our blocks. That is urgently needed for the future of our nation
